(Despite my username for the foreseeable future I will be RP'ing as Richard of Gloucester, with the consent of the respective player and that of the Admin.)
Richard returned to his quarters within the Tower of London after having partaken evening mass and the requisite ablutions. The Duke of Gloucester, always having been a pious man since childhood, had recently increased his already fastidious religious observances since the death of his brother upon the council of John Morton the presiding Archbishop of Canterbury. The foreseeable future would be a trying time for the duke, with many strains on his moral strength and judgement; he wished to ensure the Christ's benediction was with him. These recent weeks had taken their toll, he felt weary and longed for sleep as he sat at his table and poured wine into a wooden cup. Nevertheless, there was still work to be done, no rest for the wicked he mused as he reached for a quill and wet the nib.
(Letters are sent to Henry Stafford the Duke of Buckingham, Anthony Woodville the Earl Rivers , Thomas Stanley the Earl of Derby and King of Mann and Ralph Neville, the Earl of Westmorland; summoning them to London. There were government offices to allocate and Richard required dependable men at his side.)

Thomas Stanley and his entourage ride to Northampton, to await the arrival of the King from Ludlow there to travel together to London.

Anthony Woodville is missing, presumed dead by those with very base intrigue. His brother, Richard Woodville, has temporarily assumed the responsibilities associated with Earl Rivers' lands and titles.

A death warrant for Anthony Woodville is produced. His lands, property and title passing to his brother, Richard Woodville.
The arrival of the Duke of Buckingham is expected imminently, at which point an assembly will be convened.

The death warrant is issued through the usual channels. Though Parliament has not been summoned to determine the fate of his lands, Richard Woodville is Anthony's heir and there shouldn't be any opposition to his inheritance.
OOC: Woodville will continue to RP for Richard Woodville as well as the other members of his household.

Henry Stafford, along with his staff arrive in London ahead of the Duke of Gloucester. He begins preparations for the meetings which were surely to come as well as preparing for the Kings funeral and tasteful celebrations of the Dukes arrival.

"Ah Westmorland, I hope the day finds you well. The Duke of Gloucester and the King should arrive imminently, they have made their final camp outside the city."

OoC: My understanding is that Gloucester repaired stright to London, and that the King arrived only with his own and Stanley's retainers.

OOC: Ah, I may be somewhat mistaken in that case.

"Such a to-do. My understanding was that the Lord Protector here approaches, by some means. Have we any hearing of reasons for our sudden assemblage, Stanley?"
